HI, I'M AMANDA...

…and Spark is the name I’ve given to my work as a garden designer, planting designer, some-time writer and general all-round gardening geek. I have diplomas in garden design, planting design and horticulture, and am a pre-registered member of the Society of Garden Designers. 

 

When I was a kid I played outside from dawn to dusk, making dens, paddling in brooks, picking flowers & poking at insects, before coming home with mud on my boots and twigs in my hair. (Actually I still do.)

 

It’s why I design gardens that make us want to go outside again. Whether town or country, big or small. Just always beautiful, highly personalized, plant-filled spaces created to last.
